　１９９９年３月１日から、『フリー』クリーチャー(Cloud of Faeries、Great
Whale、Palinchron、Peregrine Drake）に関して以下のエラッタを適用する。
"When [this creature] comes into play, if you played it from your hand, 
 untap up to [the appropriate number] lands."
『[クリーチャー]が場に出たとき、それがあなたの手札からプレイされていれば、
　[それぞれの枚数]枚までの土地をアンタップする』

　また、Priest of Gixも以下のエラッタを得る。
"When Priest of Gix comes into play, if you played it from your hand,
 add [three black mana] to your mana pool." (This should be
treated as if there were actual mana symbols in the text box.)
『ギックスの僧侶が場に出たとき、それがあなたの手札からプレイされていれば、

　このエラッタの示唆するところについて、 _マジック_(R)のリードデザイナーの
Bill Roseは次のように語っている。
「この書式によって、それをRecurring Nightmare《繰り返す悪夢》やSneak Attack
《騙し討ち》の類の能力で直接場に出したときは土地をアンタップできないことが
　明白になった。プレイするのと場に出すのは別である」
